Points North is looking for a Vice President, Marketing to join our growing team! You will oversee all aspects of our marketing strategy, with a strong focus on leadership, product marketing, partner development, and demand generation. You will lead a cross-functional team, working closely with product, sales, and executive leadership to develop and execute integrated marketing plans that elevate our brand, drive customer acquisition, and expand our partner ecosystem.  

What You’ll Be Doing:

  Leadership:  

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation  

  • Work closely with executive leadership to align marketing strategies with broader business goals, ensuring marketing initiatives contribute to company growth  

  • Develop and manage the marketing department budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet objectives  

  • Form a dynamic collaborative partnership with sales teams to support demand creation and increase in MQL and SQL performance. 

Product Marketing:  

  • Own the development and execution of multi-product marketing strategies, positioning, and messaging that resonate with target audiences  

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases, ensuring clear communication and alignment with sales, product, and customer success teams  

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation  

  • Collaborate with product teams to provide customer insights and feedback that inform product development  

  • Drive Branding  

  Partner Development:  

  • Drive the development and execution of strategic partner marketing programs, focusing on expanding and nurturing key relationships  

  • Create co-branded campaigns, joint value propositions, and partner enablement tools to support the sales and growth of our partner ecosystem  

  • Develop and manage partner marketing communications, ensuring alignment with both internal and external stakeholders  

  • Identify new partner opportunities and work collaboratively to create joint marketing strategies  

  Demand Generation:  

  • Oversee the creation and execution of demand generation programs to drive qualified leads and opportunities through various channels, including digital marketing, content, events, and more  

  • Develop and implement targeted campaigns that support lead nurturing, customer acquisition, and revenue growth, through SEO, paid search and driving our pilot outbound campaign 

  • Leverage analytics and performance data to optimize campaigns, increase ROI, and improve lead conversion rates  

  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing-generated leads and sales efforts

  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for analytics and continuous improvement  

  • Experience in running large-scale product launches and campaigns  

  • Proven ability to drive partner growth and manage relationships in a partner ecosystem  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent, relevant experience   

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of successful leadership, product marketing, partner development, and demand generation  

  • Experience in B2B marketing within a SaaS organization, plus if within FinTech/Payroll/HCM organizations  

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems, plus if with Hubspot
